The sooner you know whether you are pregnant or not, the sooner you will be able to make choices about your pregnancy. There is plenty of support available to help you through whatever you decide to do.
A pregnancy test can be done from the first day your period was due. It is best to wait until then as this is when the pregnancy hormone will be high enough to be detected on the test. If you do it before, there is a chance you could get an incorrect negative result. If you think you might be pregnant, you can buy a test or you can ask to be tested at one of our Contraception clinics.
